# macOS Electron installer

The macOS release unit is the Electron application configured in
`desktop/electron/electron-builder.yml`. This directory no longer contains a
separate app/DMG builder.

Use the release entrypoint:

```bash
cd desktop/release
./build-macos-assets.sh v1.2.3
```

It stages the renderer, Go sidecar, and managed OpenCode runtime, then invokes
Electron Builder for macOS arm64/x64 DMG and ZIP targets. The nested
executables, Electron application, notarization flow, installer artifacts, and
updater metadata therefore share one package configuration and version.
