# Agent Guardrails

Guardrails in this directory protect `desktop/internal/agent` package hygiene.

- `check-agent-goimports.sh` enforces `goimports -local github.com/tidbcloud/AgentTeam` formatting for all Go files under `desktop/internal/agent`, preserving the stdlib / third-party / AgentTeam-internal import grouping expected by the agent package cleanup work.

- `driver-subpackage-evaluation.md` records why concrete drivers stay in the root `agent` package for the current cleanup PR, and lists the criteria required before a future `agent/drivers/*` split.

The script uses an existing `goimports` binary when available, or installs `golang.org/x/tools/cmd/goimports@v0.44.0` into a temporary `GOBIN` for CI-style runs.
