# Memory Specs

This directory contains the canonical Memory specs.

Memory has two related but separate meanings:

1. agent-local recovery memory in an agent workspace;
2. MeshX managed Memory resources, which are workspace resources backed by AGS repositories.

The spec keeps those boundaries explicit so local runtime recovery and managed repository-backed Memory do not collapse into one implicit model.
