# Unit Tests for o11y-proxy plugin

## Running Tests

These tests are designed to run with the Busted test framework, which is commonly used for Lua testing in Kong plugins.

### Prerequisites

Install Busted:

```bash
luarocks install busted
```

### Manual Test Execution

From the plugin root directory (the directory containing `assume.lua`):

```bash
cd /path/to/plugin-o11y-proxy

# Run all tests
busted spec/

# Run specific test file
busted spec/assume_pure_functions_spec.lua

# List all tests
busted --list spec/
```

**Important**: The tests must be run from the plugin root directory (`plugin-o11y-proxy/`), not from the `spec/` directory, as the test files use relative paths to load the modules.
