# Claude Code — project instructions pointer

This file exists so that Claude Code (and any other
Claude-family tool that looks for `CLAUDE.md`) can locate the
authoritative project-level instructions for AI assistants
working in this repo.

The single source of truth is [`AGENTS.md`](AGENTS.md) in
this directory. Read it first and follow it. AGENTS.md is
the file that all AI assistants in this repo (Claude Code,
GitHub Copilot, Mavis, etc.) are expected to honour; this
file is a pointer only, kept thin on purpose so the two
files do not drift.

If AGENTS.md and this pointer ever disagree, AGENTS.md wins.
