# Workspace

A **workspace** is one investigation. Everything about a single incident or
inquiry lives inside it — sources, chat history, generated reports, and
artifacts.

When you click **Create new workspace**, an empty workspace named *Untitled
Workspace* opens automatically.

## Anatomy

Each workspace has three panels:

- **Sources** (left) — inputs the agent can read: Jira issues, cluster meta,
  skills, MCP connectors.
- **Chat** (center) — your conversation with the agent.
- **Studio** (right) — evidence the agent collected or authored, plus the
  reports that cite it.

## When to start a new workspace

Start a new workspace whenever the context changes:

- A new ticket or alert.
- A different cluster.
- A meaningfully different question.

Workspaces are cheap; don't be afraid to make them. Each workspace is
self-contained, which keeps the agent's context tight and makes later searches
or exports much cleaner than one rolling chat.

## Lifecycle

From the workspaces grid, the three-dot menu on each card lets you:

- **Rename** the workspace title.
- **Export** a portable bundle.
- **Delete** the workspace — irreversible; the chat and artifacts go with it.
