# Sharing

Investigations rarely happen alone. Investibook lets you share a workspace's
URL with anyone, and they'll see a **read-only view** that updates live as
the chat continues.

## Share a workspace

Click **Share Workspace** in the top-right of the workspace.

Then copy the workspace URL.

## What others will see

Recipients land on the same workspace, but their view is **read-only**:

- They can browse all sources, chat history, and Studio reports.
- New messages and artifacts appear in real time as the owner keeps
  investigating.
- They cannot send messages, modify sources, or change settings.

## When to share

- **Hand-off** — bring a new engineer up to speed without retyping context.
- **Customer-facing** — link a workspace to a TCOC / TCID case for
  cross-team visibility.
- **Postmortem** — preserve the investigation log for the writeup.

> Shared workspaces stay live as long as the owner keeps them. If you delete
> the workspace, the link breaks.
