## Overview

Investibook v0.5 is an architecture-simplification and resilience release centered on 3 themes:
- **Clinic MCP removal** — the Clinic MCP sidecar dependency is fully removed; all data access is unified through the `clinic-api` skill, simplifying deployment and eliminating a class of connectivity failures.
- **GitHub issue search** — a new builtin skill enables agents to search GitHub issues and PRs via the REST Search API, with automatic PAT delivery.
- **Source preparation hardening** — multiple fixes ensure workspaces can be created and diagnosed even when Jira metadata is incomplete or cluster information is missing.

## New Features

### Clinic MCP Removal & Unified Data Access

- **Remove Clinic MCP dependency** — the Clinic MCP connector (`mcp-clinic`) is disabled in `opencode.json.template` and removed from the frontend workspace sources panel. All metric, log, and TopSQL queries now go through the `clinic-api` skill exclusively, removing the need for a separate MCP sidecar process. ([#352])
- **System prompt rewrite** — `system_prompt.py` no longer references Clinic MCP tools; replaced with `clinic-api` skill workflow guidance that covers metric queries, Loki log extraction, and TopSQL data-proxy SQL. ([#352])
- **`tidb-clinic-diagnosis` skill overhaul** — the diagnosis skill is rewritten around a single data access layer (`clinic-api` curl). New additions include:
  - **A6 Log Extraction Protocol** — progressive Loki extraction with time-window narrowing
  - **Node B2 log gate** — mandatory fill-in-the-blank evidence before concluding
  - **Node E forced evidence conclusion template** — structured final diagnosis output
  - Synced with latest nutshell `clinic-api` skill (TopSQL data-proxy SQL support) ([#352])

### GitHub Issue Search Skill

- **New builtin skill: `github-issue-search`** — agents can now search GitHub issues and PRs using the REST Search API with `q` syntax, `curl`, or `gh api`. The skill is enabled by default for all new workspaces. ([#355])
- **Automatic GitHub PAT delivery** — the backend populates `GITHUB_TOKEN` / `GH_TOKEN` / `GITHUB_PAT` into the workspace `.env` and ACP subprocess environment using the same fallback chain pattern as `CLINIC_API_KEY` (`SKILL_GITHUB_TOKEN` -> `INVESTIBOOK_GITHUB_TOKEN` -> `GITHUB_TOKEN` -> `GH_TOKEN`). ### Nutshell Skills Sync

- **Major nutshell-skills expansion** — this release syncs a large batch of new and updated diagnosis skills from the upstream nutshell-skills repository, including:
  - **PD skills**: `pd-oncall-handbook`, `pd-operations`, `pd-placement-rules`, `pd-resource-control`, `pd-scheduling` — each with structured known-case references
  - **TiKV skills**: `tikv-cdc`, `tikv-oncall-handbook`, `tikv-panic`, `tikv-performance`, `tikv-raftstore`, `tikv-scale`, `tikv-status-server`, `tikv-storage` — comprehensive diagnosis workflows with real-world case references
  - **TiKV memory skill update** — added `resolved-ts-and-swap-known-cases` and `tikv#19284` references
  - **Transaction oncall handbook update** — added `client-go-store-pointer-inconsistency`, `follower-resolved-ts-gap-stale-peer`, `stale-read-latency-heavy-schema-loading` references
  - **New: `aidlc` (AI Development Life Cycle)** — a comprehensive software development workflow skill under `openclaw/aidlc/` with inception, construction, operations phases and detailed reference guides ([#352])

### Admin & Operations

- **Admin allowlist update** — added `xieyujie@pingcap.com` to the deployment admin email allowlist. ([#338])
