# Code of Conduct

## Our pledge

We want participation in this project to be a straightforward experience for everyone, regardless of
age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience,
nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

## Expected behaviour

- Assume the other person is trying to solve a real problem, and read their report that way.
- Give feedback about the work rather than about the person doing it.
- Accept feedback about your own work the same way.
- When you disagree, say what would change your mind.

## Unacceptable behaviour

- Harassment of any kind, public or private.
- Sexualised language or imagery, and unwelcome sexual attention.
- Personal or political attacks, insults, and derogatory comments.
- Publishing someone's private information without their explicit permission.
- Sustained disruption of discussions.

## Scope

This applies in the project's own spaces (issues, pull requests, discussions, commit messages) and
when someone is representing the project in public.

## Reporting

Report a concern by opening a
[GitHub security advisory](https://github.com/tidbcloud/mcp-server/security/advisories/new),
which is private to the maintainers. Deliberately routing conduct reports through the same private
channel as vulnerabilities is a convenience, not a categorisation: it is simply the one channel here
that is not world-readable.

Every report is reviewed, and the reporter's identity is not disclosed to the person reported.
Maintainers who cannot act impartially on a report will recuse themselves from it.

## Enforcement

Maintainers may edit or remove comments, commits, code, and issues that violate this document, and
may ban a contributor temporarily or permanently for behaviour they judge inappropriate, threatening,
or harmful. The maintainer taking the action explains which part of this document it rests on.

## Attribution
