# 2021-04-11-16:01:48+0800 disable balance-region operation for cluster 1311285575352848384

- Cause: The balance-region operation consumes too much CPU of user's cluster, disable it temporaily to eliminate the impaction.
- Operation:

```
> kubectl exec -it -n tidb1311285575352848384 db-pd-0 -- sh
> cd /var/lib/pd-tls
> /pd-ctl --pd https://db-pd:2379 --cacert ca.crt --key tls.key --cert tls.crt scheduler remove balance-region-scheduler
```

- Impact: The balance-region operation will be disabled, the CPU usage of TiKV nodes will decrease
- Recovery operation:

> kubectl exec -it -n tidb1311285575352848384 db-pd-0 -- sh
> cd /var/lib/pd-tls
