- Cause: the min nodes AWS auto scaling group was set to 1 manually, which prevents auto scale-in and leads to waste of resources.
- Operation: login the AWS console and set the `Min` of seed autoscaling groups to 1
- Impact: no immediate impacts, under utilization nodes will be scaled-in by cluster autoscaler afterwards.
- Recovery operation: set the `Min` back to 5
- Time window: 22:40~22:45 CST 2021-06-29
