# 2021-08-02-17:55:57+0800 upgrade prod metadb to v5.0.2

- Cause:
  we need upgrade the prod metadb to v5.0.2. but the normal release can't make that：
 1. the staging has already removed the metadb，
 2. the version of staging is 2021q3m3, newer than prod's
 3. we are unable to rollback dbaas
 4. After we change the version of metadb, pulumi can execute with no error next time 
- Operation:
 1. kubectl -n prod get tc db > backup-db.yaml
 2. kubectl -n prod edit tc db
 3. set the version from v4.0.0-rc2 to v5.0.2
- Impact:
  The prod metadb will be upgraded to v5.0.2
- Recovery operation:
 kubectl apply -f backup-db.yaml
- Time window:
    2021-08-02-18:15:00 - 2021-08-02-18:30:00
