# 2021-11-19-16:18:55+0800 force restart tikv

- Cause:

Rolling restart tikv would take a long time, the customer is doing POC
and wants to force restart TiKV to accelarate configuration change.

- Operation:

kubectl delete po -n tidb1379661944584424071 db-tikv-{0,1,2,3,4,5}
kubectl edit tc -n tidb1379661944584424071 db # set evictLeaderTimeout to 1m
```

- Impact:

The tikv pods will be forcibly restarted

- Recovery operation:
