# TiDB Cloud API Samples (Python)

This directory contains the TiDB Cloud API samples in Python.

## Prerequisites

1. Before you start, make sure you have completed the [Quick start](../README.md#quick-start) and configured the required environment variables.

2. If you don't already have Python in your environment, [install Python](https://www.python.org/downloads/).

    This sample (and the SDK) is compatible with Python **3.8+**.

After you complete the prerequisites, you can try out the following Python code samples in this directory. Happy coding!
