Run these steps in order, or use Onboarding to create the user, organization, project, and Admin API key in one flow.

Owner user ID Email

Step 3: create a project. Add a Business DSN only when the project needs a TiDB database binding.

Admin API key ID Grant target Scopes

There is one Admin API key type. This chooses where its grant is valid; project grants include Project ID and organization grants omit it. Scopes: Demo default sends the read-mostly demo list, Full owner (omit) lets the backend assign the complete owner set, Custom sends exactly what you check.

Step 4: create the Admin API key. Generated credentials are copied to the Admin API menu.

Creates the user, org, and project in one request, then creates the Admin API key using the selected grant target. Generated IDs and credentials are copied into the Admin API configuration after the backend responds.

Mint Admin API key

Create a fresh Admin API key for a specified org and project. Leave Scopes on Full owner default to have the backend assign the complete owner set — including project.database.write, project.client_key.write, and project.migration.write — or switch to Custom selection and pick an exact scope list. Requires the management token. On success the new public/private key replaces the Admin API credentials and appears under Generated credentials.
